You don't need to be a developer, and there is no coding required!
As part of the sign up process you will choose your username and password. Once approved you can login to our content management system (CMS) and begin building your app.
When you are happy with your app you click the button and we take care of the rest, submitting your app to the Android Market and Apple App Store.

We designed our App Engine from the ground up to provide a high degree of flexibility and customization. We also wanted to make the customization experience as simple and easy as possible.
We provide you with a login to our web-based Content Management System (CMS), that allows you to choose features, re-organize screens, upload images, change colors, and enter text using our rich text editor.
Using our CMS Viewer app (available for both iPhone and Android), you are able to preview how your app will look on a real device before clicking publish and having it sent to the Android Market and Apple App Store.
After your app has been published and is available for your users to download, you can still make any content changes you wish from your account. After you are done, just click publish again our App Engine will make the changes available to your customers immediately.
Home Screen
While you can change the order your screens appear, typically the first one is the home screen. This is where you have an opportunity to tell your users about yourself, perhaps display some images and welcome them to the experience.

Contact, Location & Map
Helping people to easily locate your business is extremely important. To make this as easy as possible for the user we provide a powerful, but easy to use set of locations screens. If you have multiple locations, then no problem. You can present a list of locations, let users see them all on a map and let them choose the one they want to see. If you only have a single location then we show the user that single location.

Within each location you can provide information specific to that location. These can be things such as hours of operation, phone numbers, location specific events, maps, and driving directions. We integrate with google maps to provide turn-by-turn directions.
Hours of Operation
Provide users with your hours of operation. They can simply view them for each of your locations. The app will even quickly show them if you are currently open for business. If you have different departments operating at different times then you can simply create Time Groups that let the user choose the department they are interested in.

Quick Dial
Provide lists of numbers for users to quickly contact you. They simply tap on the phone number they wish to call and the phone will go ahead and automatically place the call for them. This is a quick and painless way for customers to connect with you.

Different themes can be applied along with customized graphics to provide a visually compelling experience to your users.
Messages & Promotions
With messages you can reach out and touch your users offering them promotions and valuable information. Messages can be created from our content management system and scheduled to be delivered at particular times. They can also be scheduled to disappear making them an excellent source of time expiring promotional offers. Using push notifications, often referred to as alerts, your mobile users will be notified when you sent out a new message.

On the right is a real example of how one of our customers uses messages and promotions to keep their customers engaged. They offer trivia questions and the message only appears for specific periods of time (announced with a push notification). The first user to tap the dial button and call the company wins the promotion.
Beyond promotions, messages are a great way to communicate with customers about specific time-relative things. For example, in advance of a hurricane some companies sent messages to their customers explaining when they will be closed, and what options customers had available to them during that time.
News
Having a newsletter is a great way to provide useful information and articles to your customers. You can write newsletters in advance and schedule them to appear on users devices on a particular date. Using our rich text editor, you can create great looking newsletters and embed graphics in your content. Once you are done creating your newsletter simply save and it is available in your app.

Push Notifications
Push Notifications are a fantastic way to connect with your customers. With push notifications you can send information messages, or draw attention to promotions you are running. Better yet, there are no fees for you to send push messages, and no fees for your customers to receive them.

We use the built in push notification support within the iPhone operating system (iOS). This allows us to popup a message window with a brief teaser message and sound. The user can then choose to ignore or view the message. If they choose to view the message then your app is automatically opened for them so that they can read the full message. Additionally, on the iPhone we display a badge count on your apps icon, so that the user knows that they have a number of unread messages waiting for them.
For Android we also use the build in push notifications support. The user will receive a notification message and sound. The message will appear in the status bar at the top of the phone along with a small icon of your app. The user can drag down to see more about the notification, and if they tap on it then it will open you app so that the user can view the entire message.
Event Calendar
A great way to connect with your customers is to keep them informed about the events that are taking place at your different locations.

Events can be for a single location, for all your locations, or just a specific address. Along with the details of the event we have a button to show the location on a map. This makes it very easy for your customers to know how to get to your events. Only current and future events are displayed. After the date and time of the event passes it will no longer be visible on the device.
Calculators
Provide a useful tip calculator for your customers to use. They can quickly calculate tips and split the check between diners.

QR Codes
QR Codes are a fantastic way to engage your customers. Using our content management system you can easily create your own QR codes and link them to videos, websites and other things. Then print out the QR code and attach it to brochures, billboards, inventory and let your customers scan them to learn more.

Website
The Internet is packed with information, and having an app that is able to quickly provide links to your customers is important. There are many different ways to do this in our App Engine. The two most popular ways are to add websites to the Links tab, or to add a tab to the application that will show a web page.
